Description

This course is for sailors that completed intro to racing with instructor approval and are looking to learn more advanced racing tactics. Sailors will learn:

• Advanced boat handling skills

• Deeper understanding of the rules

• Regatta preparation

• Sportsmanship and leadership skills

• Race course management and tactics

This course is designed for sailors to take their racing to the next level.  We have seasoned coaches that are ready to teach top secret tips to make the boat go faster and advance the sailors skills.

Age & Experience

Age 10+

Intermediate

• Student should feel confident sailing a boat by themselves without an instructor

Shows mastery of skills / completion of Intro to Racing Skills class

No instructor on the boat

Cost

$275 for 8 weeks consisting of 14 classes

Or

$425 for race package including 13 Racing Skills classes, and Friday Regatta Travel Team

• Race Skills runs on Tuesday and Thursday for 7 weeks:

  • Tuesday June 10 & Thursday June 12

  • Tuesday June 17 & Thursday June 19

  • Tuesday June 24 & Thursday June 26

  • Tuesday July 1 & Thursday July 3

  • Tuesday July 8 & Thursday July 10

  • Tuesday July 22 & Thursday July 24

  • Tuesday August 5 & Thursday August 7

Classes are from 3:00 - 5:00 PM Arrive a few minutes early to allow for boat set up and more sailing time.
