Description

This course is for sailors that completed intro to racing with instructor approval and are looking to learn more advanced racing tactics. Sailors will learn:

• Advanced boat handling skills

• Deeper understanding of the rules

• Regatta preparation

• Sportsmanship and leadership skills

• Race course management and tactics

This course is designed for sailors to take their racing to the next level.  We have seasoned coaches that are ready to teach top secret tips to make the boat go faster and advance the sailors skills.

Age & Experience

Age 10+

Intermediate

• Student should feel confident sailing a boat by themselves without an instructor

Shows mastery of skills / completion of Intro to Racing Skills class

No instructor on the boat

Cost

$275 for 7 weeks consisting of 14 classes

Or

$425 for race package including 14 Racing Skills classes, and Friday Regatta Travel Team

Opti & Butterfly Racing Skills classes run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM on the following dates:

• Tuesday June 9 & Thursday June 11

• Tuesday June 15 & Thursday June 18

• Tuesday June 23 & Thursday June 25

• Tuesday June 30 & Thursday July 2

• Tuesday July 7 & Thursday July 9

• Tuesday July 21 & Thursday July 23

• Tuesday July 28 & Thursday July 31
