Description

This course is designed to give young children an early and controlled introduction to the world of sailing consisting of on land and on water instruction.

Students will be introduced to:

• Boat Parts

• Rigging

• Points of Sail

• Water Safety

Students will be learning on a butterfly sailed by an instructor. The sailor/instructor ratio will be no more than 2 or 3 sailors per instructor.

Age & Experience

Age 6 & 7

Beginner - No prior knowledge of sailing required.

Life-Jackets are required at all times. (if needed, some life-jackets are available-to borrow).

$99 for one week consisting of 4 classes

Dates

Explorers Classes run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM during the following weeks:

Week 1: June 8 - 11

Week 2: June 15 - 18

Week 3: June 22 - 25

Week 4: June 29-July 2

Week 5: July 6 - 9

Week 7: July 20 - 23

Week 9: July 27 - 31

Week 10: August 10 - 13
